I wish people would stop placing blame. We should be using this tragic accident to look ahead at making the sport safer. I think it should be up to the organizers to decide if the race is safe to start in the future not the riders. Nobody wants to be the one who wants to call off the race. The riders at the front all want to race for crucial points and everybody else follows suit - It's the bystander effect. As Andrea's father said. He thought he was in for a better chance of winning in the wet, so Andrea was not going to protest the race start due to bad weather. Somebody neutral like a race official in the safety car should call it.
