With the new tech regs. in WSB actually making a more level playing field the opportunities for teams and riders are improved. The riders haven't been downgraded, have they? This is opening the championship to more private race teams and the more factories step back and support those teams the better the chances are for a brilliant series going forward. Sure, there will still be the political and financial bickering, but it could be more in the background and the racing shouldn't suffer and in fact it might just improve! (wild optimism there).
