Fantastic riding and fantastic racing. WSBK once again showing MotoGP how its done.
Can't imagine MotoGP ever being able to provide 6 racers riding THAT hard and THAT close at the sharp end for lap after lap after lap.
Chas really, REALLY wanted it. Even without the Red Flag, I think Melandri or Laverty would have caused a crash by needing a banzai move to try and get past.
Chances are (form says) Melandri would have skittled himself and Chas rather than lose to his team-mate (just ask Haslam, and stuff BMW's home win!) and handed the win to Eugene.
Chas is a proper class act & a top-drawer racer. I hope this performance gets him the sort of ride he deserves for next season.
