I cant see Melandri being in the mix for the title really.
Hard to say if its him or the bike - he was so good last season till he came unravelled, but this year maybe BMW haven't moved the bike on and Kawasaki improving their tyre life has made it harder, as has Aprilia's very strong package and rider pairing.
Be interesting to see how Melandri goes an a Priller next season! I'm not sure Laverty deserves to lose his seat to Marco though, and hope the rumour of a decent Aprilia in MotoGP is there for Laverty - I think he could compete with similar packaged riders well.
