Biaggi leads second free practice.

The Roman Emperor, Max Biaggi has come out on top during second free practice ahead of the opening round of the Corona Extra Superbike World Championship at Qatar.

Aboard his Alstare Corona Extra Suzuki, Biaggi eased ahead of Britain's James Toseland on the Hannspree Ten Kate Honda.

Still riding in close formation were the Yamaha pair of Troy Corser and Noriyuki Haga running in third and fourth respectively. Corser took a tumble with seven minutes of the session to run but is ok to go forward to Superpole.

The Xerox Ducati riders Troy Bayliss and Lorenzo Lanzi finished in fifth and seventh respectively with Yukio Kagayama on the second Alstare Suzuki splitting them.
