WSS: Curtain unbeaten in free practice two.

SSP Yamaha's Kevin Curtain topped the times sheets all the way through second free practice ahead of round two of the World Supersport Championship at Phillip Island.

Only the reigning World Champion Sebastien Charpentier on his Hannspree Ten Kate Honda came close to the fast Australian - he was just 0.029secs behind him.

Fabien Foret kept his Gil Motorsport Kawaski in the top four, finishing the session in third place and pushing current Championship leader Kenan Sofuoglu back to fourth place.

The second of the SSP Yamaha's in the hands of Broc Parkes was fifth over the line, due to the bulk of preseason testing both Parkes and Curtain are now simply fine tuning their R6s for race day.

Pere Riba didn't have as much luck as his team-mate Foret, he crashed during practice and finished eighteenth. Britain Craig Jones came home in thirtieth place and will be hoping for a better showing in second qualifying.
