Bayliss on top in second free practice.

Troy Bayliss left it late to post the fastest time during second free practice going into the seventh Superpole of the year.

The Xerox rider beat Noriyuki Haga to the number one spot with his Yamaha team-mate Troy Corser in third.

Britain's James Toseland was in fourth place but he did top the times sheets for quite some time.

Lorenzo Lanzi team-mate to Bayliss was fifth with Yukio Kagayama coming on strong in sixth place on the Alstare Corona Extra Suzuki. His team-mate Max Biaggi was in seventh as he gets to grips with the Silverstone circuit.
