Even the most staunch Haga fan (that includes me) has to be totally deluded to crown Haga this early. We're not even halfway through the season yet, and as much as it pains me to admit it, Spies already looks to be a more naturally talented rider than Nori. He's an all-round package and has anyone noticed how late he can brake, and still make the apex!? Insane skill and bottle! So far Haga has done everything right (R2 last week not withstanding). Ridden consistently, scored podiums, kept out of trouble and benefited from a mixture of Spies bad luck and errors. However, a few more DNFs for Nori and with Spies home race coming up could suddenly turn the title race on its head!
