Oh, further to Dray's comment about the lap time... He's right- it is slower than last year. Cal did 1:40.6 last year on the 600, and is only .4 quicker on the wsbk. Perhaps the circuit has changed? Maybe it's just conditions? But the slower laps do not point to less talent or ability anywhere through the field.
