With just over a month before the start of the season, BE1 Racing announces it will prepare Yamahas - not Triumphs - in 2011.

strange move that, we have just ditched the Yamaha to run triumphs at bsb stocks, there MUST be an offer further along the line that we are not being told about..

BE1 chose to leave... course they did :)

Surely they would have been testing the Yam's if the decision was theirs, not the 675's that they actually tested!

As for the terd Triumph comment, I bet you have never even ridden one, let alone raced one!

Wow, that was unexpected. Shame because that was Triumph's only shot at racing success on the world stage. Davies rode that thing over the limit numerous times to compete with the more-sorted Hondas. This is about as clear of a signal as Triumph could get to revamp the 675 for 2012... especially with the MV triple on the way.

BE1 were not only meant to be racing in WSS this year but also testing the 2012 Triumph 1100cc triple Superbike, hence the hiring of Scassa who dropped down from SBK with a view to moving back up. The problem lies at Hinkley. New regime not interested in racing or paying anyone else to ...

Triple Treat has hit the nail on the head. I dont think be1 would have tested the triumph at the end of last year if they werent planning on racing them. It all seems a bit of a rush job too.
