WSS » Cool Davies wins chaotic Assen race

The Welshman shows his title credentials with a fighting ride, but there is poor fortune for both Luca Scassa and Sam Lowes.

Terrific riding from Chaz today and a well deserved win. He looked strongest in all of the race starts.

Big relief to hear that Lowes 'only' had concussion and a broken collarbone after that nasty highside. It could have been much worse. Hopefully he'll be ok to ride again at Monza.

What a great race to watch. The most entertaining ride of the day had to be Gino Rea's, especially considering his lack of setup time on the bike. His final position was undeserved after such heroism.

Chaz totally deserved that win though. What an excellent rider he is and I hope he can continue the momentum through the rest of the season.

Bad luck for Sam Lowes. He'll be back and fighting I'm sure and, whatever happens, he's having a really impressive rookie year in WSS.

Great win for Chaz, let's hope that now he's broken his duck there'll be many more.

Gino is so entertaining to watch ride, he tries so damn hard. Gutted he crashed out as I wanted a podium for him.

Nice to hear Jack Burnicle mentioning my home town in Mid Wales, good work Chaz putting Knighton on the map!
