the good is this machine is quite old '09 model (as Yamaha 600 now I guess) and perform better and better thru the years so Kawasaki doesn't waste resources for new construction but improving already exists the very strong one. Think that they with Honda and now Yamaha started to increase the interval time between new model releasing. It's good.

The increased duration between models has to do with financial restrictions rather than racing strategy. It's strange to note that the Yamaha is in it's third season but still competitive. The Honda line ups in wss and wsb are even older. Indeed, only Kawasaki in sbk and Suzuki in wss have a new machine this year. Sign of the times?

i personally think its not because the bike is newer that make it faster than a yam or honda, because i think these older bike can keep up with these new bike its all in the rider and set up of the bike and dont forget kawasaki's aint slow.
