Luca Scassa says he will not be riding an Alstare-run MV Agusta F3 in the 2012 World Supersport Championship.

Word games....... In 2007, I was working for Atlanta Triumph Ducati and operated my own motorcycle insurance agency. That dealer sold MVs. When Ferracci decided to go Superbike racing again he chose the MV because he was the largest importer of the bikes. Scassa rode for the team that year. In the Atlanta round race 1 one Scassa's bike broke (rear hub I think) but he finished 8th. The part that failed they did not have on the truck. Ferracci literally had our lead master tech (who was wrenching for MV that weekend) walk up to vendor row and TAKE a stock F4 out of the tent and hijacked the parts off the bike that they needed to compete in race 2 where he finished 12th.
Point is that he is familiar with the equipment. Can race it competently and if it's a "factory" backed effort should be able to race it in the top 10 most of the time. I hope that he gets that chance with MV. He would make the team proud and he could definately score points and maybe even get into the top 5 on occassio
