People are putting too much pressure on this guy. Look at Cal last year, everyone wrote him off effectively, and now Cal is driving harder than ever. I think Sam could do for following Kenan's lead and start following people with enough room to keep his tires clean, if hes got the shot with 5 (or maybe more) laps to go then pull the plug. No sense in leading the race w/ unproven race pace.

I think he's probably putting more pressure on himself for that first win than anybody else could. The pace is there so it will come, and once that monkey is off his back maybe we'll see more mature and steadier tactical races from him.

I still have him down as a future WSS champ despite the mistakes and setbacks. As long he's learning from them all they'll only make him stronger in the long run.

Riding in those conditions is a lottery - there's absolutely no blame in sliding off in standing water. He's got the speed, he'll get a win eventually. But for me Sam has already proved he can be an effective force in WSS and shouldn't hang around there. He needs to be looking at Moto2 to further his career.

I think we should all stop worrying (including sam) with the pace he can run in the wet and dry, the results will come.

Look at Nicky Haydens moto gp winning year.......you don't always have to win to win!!!

WTF?
The kid hasnt even prooved he has a consistent race pace in WSS, so why the hell sould he move to moto2 exactly?I saw kenan S. do it and go downbeat every race. And he had nothing left to prove at WSS.Then he came back to wss to win round 1 2012, and said he had gone through a nightmare of politics in the GP paddock, so he made the right choice to comeback. What do you think would happen to Lowes when if he found some characters like Marquez,Ianonne and others? They probably would chew him for breakfast.
