pah! this guys is going to race superbikes?! yeah right! he went to Ten Kate in superbike , got his ass handed, then complained that the bigger bikes require him to use too much upper body strength, which he lacks.
Got his behind handed to him in Moto2 aswell
No, instead he'll be consigned to SSP beating young upstarts who barely register in World racing...ho-hum how the mighty have fallen..

A little hard there drange, the guy admitted he can't ride superbikes.Maybe he also has problems with slick tyres. If supersport is where he's best then of course he's going to go back to it...maybe he'll do next year then try moto 2 again, maybe just stay where he is.Funny that the last supersport race was quite boring, usually they're more interesting to watch, though Kenan did at least get pushed by Cluzel.

more capable bikes?!?!! this is a factory kawasaki bike shipped from japan!! there arent even any other factory bikes on the grid. The PTR and Ten Kate teams only receive some backing from Honda. PTR gets some assistance from Honda UK, while Ten Kate barely get any in Supersport or Superbike. not sure which championship youve been looking at.
Well if hes as good as everyone touts him, then he should be on Moto2 exceeding the 'crap' machinery that he supposedly gets. You only catch the eyes of the good teams once you should great skill, but last year he showed none of that, thus the reason hes back in his old stomping ground. Kinda pathetic really...

I don't see why Kenan is being bashed for his success in world supersport. Even if he could ride ssp only (which isn't the fact) then so what ? As I already pointed out in another topic, the bike and the team weren't up to it in moto2. Kenan had beaten his team mate Pirro convincingly in 2010, then they both went to moto2 and come season's end Pirro had scored a win and was ahead in the table. It's not about 'adaptability' either, cause Kenan was very fast as soon as he switched into moto2 at the end of 2010.

As for superbikes. He was only 23 at the time. You don't see many riders cutting it in Superbikes at that age. If what I've been told was true (rather a rumour really) Kenan's contract with Kawasaki is 1 year for Supersport and then Superbike. We might see him in Superbikes again next season but I wonder whether the ZX 10R is the right bike for him. Only 1 rider has managed good results with it so far...

"consigned to SSP beating young upstarts who barely register in World racing"

Who are the young upstarts? Cluzel? Baldolini? Parkes? Fabien Foret? Yes there is Lowes, but most of the top WSS riders aren't 18 year-old rookies who started racing yesterday. It's a hard championship, everyone needs experience and talent (don't forget backing too) to get the results.
It's very hard to jugde where Sofuoglu should race. He always turns out the best in Supersport, but he was not too successful in WSB or Moto2. Of course he don't want to race in mid-pack, but Supersport looks too easy for him.

So you guys say Kenan can not ride superbike or Moto2 ? Let me talk about it: Superbike 2008 Kenan's teammates: Checa (Motogp ace, tons and years of experience, motogp winner, factory racer and future world sbk champion) finished the 2008 season 4th place 147 points adrift of Bayliss, almost equal to 6 races deficit.. in 2009 the same story with Honda this time 7th position. Then suddenly Checa jumps on a Ducati and become World Champ. What happened to Checa ? Got He hit by lightning at almost 40 years of age ? Kiyonari ( Double BSB champion, tons of years of experience) finished the season 9th position. 254 points less than Bayliss, almost equal of 10 races. So now you judge Kenan cause you say can not ride sbk.. So I am asking who can ride the new Honda Fireblade. We are on 2012 and now Rea (which is an extremely talented rider) can show some signs of riding it.
Moto 2 is all about sponsors and backing. Pirro, Kenan's teammate has never been better than Kenan in SSP and suddenly on
