An absolutely unbelievable course of action from Sofuoglu !! At those speeds it borders on deadly, he was lucky to get away with the penalty he got, disgraceful. Sure he may have had a reason to be annoyed with Foret that we didnt see, but he needs to lose the monumental chip off his shoulder and realise there is a time and a place for putting things right and its not and the end of the back straight ! *****.

Didnt see the incident, but why is the three place penalty given from his current position in the race and not his finishing position, if he finished sixth, would he have still been awarded fith or ninth ???

In theory he should have moved back immediately, so they had to enforce it from where he was at the time it was handed out... though that just shows how silly a penalty it is, far too many grey areas. I mean, if I was riding and I saw that on a pit board, I wouldn't know what to do!

One more lap and he'd have gotten a ride-thru penalty, but made a mockery of the whole decision by knowing the race would finish by the time that cropped up.

Either way, it was a miserly penalty for what should have been a black flag offence in my book... I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't slapped with another penalty, but I would LOVE to know why he did it!

Very poorly applied penalty, and as Jack Burnicle said the penalty didn't match the crime and Sofuoglu should have had a far, far stronger penalty or endorsement- maybe he will...

Really don't know what was going through Kenan's head at that moment. Wild aggression, completely senseless, and endangering himself as well as Foret. The punishment was clumsily applied, poorly communicated to fans and viewers, with commentators and other riders confused. Not having pits/car radios obviously makes it harder in bike racing, but surely a more traditional time penalty would make more sense?

Me again. Im so incensed by this cr.tins behaviour. Never seen anything like it in any sport aprt from football (Which is probably where Sofuoglu belongs)He should be thrown out of motorcycle racing anyway. anyway.
Go for it Sam. Easily the quickest, and on a relatively old bike compared to the Kwackers.
