There you have it folks. Straight out of Denning's mouth (a guy in the know) - all the factory teams are there for is R&D, and they'll throw a fit if they don't get to play with the toys they want - and to hell with the fact that in doing so it spoils the racing.

Once again (and once again many will disagree cos they swallow the crud that Factory teams are vital for WC racing without thinking IMO) I'll say it. Factory teams and influence are damaging racing!
