Good luck to Sam. Definately the class act in WSS. Would love to see him in moto2 for a season or two. Thats where the real competition lies and a further stepping stone onto the world stage beit it Moto GP or WSBK.

Good to year that Sam is planning to move on. He's too good to stay mired in the WSS class any longer and is capable of much more.

I would be counselling a move to Moto2. It would have to be on competitive kit of course, but then his manager Neil Hodgson knows all too well the perils of stepping up without top flight machinery, so I'm sure he'll find a good ride for Sam if that's the path they take.

WSBK on a 'works' R1, nothing less will do. Moto2 will not work out for Sam, guys like Salom and Vinales would have him for breakfast, and there are only 2-3 teams in Moto2 capable of doing anything (just like MotoGP).

.. besides his current bike is probably faster than the better Moto2 bikes on the grid, just needs real slicks :) and not the cut up ones they give WSS to keep them from going to fast.

pcxmac and shamarone - what are you talking about ? Lowes has already proved quicker than Sofuoglu and on a slower bike and would have no bother dispatching Vinales (Inconsistent) and Salom (Inconsistent) or any other current moto 2 rider. In my opinion Sam is at least as quick as Redding and is improving all the time.
