still lacking the grip of the R6 though (out of the corners)

... but I think Kenan could probably work on his corner exit technique, is corner entry is much better, some better traction control and a little more lean might help, maybe.

Didn't get to watch the race but sounds like Kenan did a great job. If he can continue in this regard he'll give Lowes a great fight for the lead in upcoming races. Also nice to hear that he did well on the Superbike as hopefully he'll get another chance next year to compete at that level. If given similar kit to Sykes and Sofuoglu improves his fitness he should be competitive in WSB.

Sofuoglu doesnt have any issues with fitness, its the grip of the R6, Lowes is easily 1/2 second a lap faster and most of that has to do with how he has to ride the bike to get the traction control to work to best effect, just like Lorenzo.

@ tomcol

The guy got ONE YEAR in WSBK! On a bike that has proven the bane of ALL but Johnny REA'S EXISTANCE. HE ALSO SUFFERED A SERIOUS INJURY THAT YEAR.

JUST AS A RECORD, OTHER VICTIMS OF THE CBR1000 INCLUDE, Carlos Checa (Average showing), Max Neukirchner, Reuben Xaus, Hiroshi Aoyama and even Leon Haslam at the moment.

I think Kenan deserves another shot TBH.

@Nick636 yes kennan superglue only had one year on a WSBK and its now trailing other superbikes but at the time was a good bike. Seem to remember a Mr j toseland doing all right on it.above article Failed to mention Lowes battling back to second in this race, loosing just 5 points in the process. Lowes will be world champion using his head like that.

kenan's 2008 CBR was Ten Kate JR team bike, he had worse bike than Kiyonari or Checa or Johnny. And CBR was really terrible. I read Kenan's interwiew, and he is saying that he was talk with Checa at the grid after won the championship with Althea Ducati and Checa says 08 CBR was the worst and hardest bike to control about everything of his whole motogp and sbk carrier.
