Eddi La Marra has taken provisional pole position for the fourth round of the 2012 FIM Superstock 1000 Championship as he led three different manufacturers inside the top three at Misano.

The Italian, who is third in the overall standings after three races, put the Barni Racing run Ducati 1199 Panigale top of the timesheets with a lap of 1min 39.634secs, which was just good enough to edge out Jeremy Guarnoni.
