Kenan Sofuoglu is currently recovering after undergoing surgery on his troublesome knee though the World Supersport Championship leader is expected to be fit in time to compete at Brno.

The Turk, who caused controversy with his on-track conduct last time out at Motorland Aragon when he appeared to ride aggressively towards Fabien Foret, had gone into the race in discomfort having aggravated a knee injury during free practice.

Caused when his knee 'popped out of position', though Sofuoglu battled on to finish first-on-the-road in Spain - before he was demoted to fifth for his riding offence -, he has since gone under the knife to ease the pressure on the joint.

Despite this, Lorenzini Kawasaki rider Sofuoglu, who commands a 16 point lead over Sam Lowes in the overall standings, is expected to race at the next WSS round at Brno in just over two weeks' time.
