Dan Linfoot and Florian Marino are set to make a mid-season switch to the World Supersport Championship after inking a deal with an all-new Kawasaki-supported team for the second-half of the year.

The move comes after the duo called time on their MCE British Superbike Championship campaigns in favour of a switch to the premier Supersport series, where they will ride Kawasaki ZX-6Rs under the MSD R-N Racing Team India banner.

The brand new team is headed up by Andrew Stone, crew chief for current WSS front runner Fabien Foret, and will make its debut at Brno, with at least Marino set to ride as Linfoot is still believed to be recovering from the hand injury he sustained at Knockhill last month.

For Marino - who this week parted with Splitlath Redmond Aprilia in BSB after failing to score a point over the first-half of the year - the switch marks a return to WSS competition after a season spent with Ten Kate Honda in 2011, the Frenchman finishing eighth overall.

Linfoot, meanwhile, began the season riding with Buildbase BMW, but will now return to Supersport machinery for the first time since 2009 when he enjoyed a strong - albeit injury interrupted - season at domestic level.
