Luca Scassa has denied that he has signed to ride a ParkinGO-prepared MV Agusta in the World Supersport Championship next season, but admits he has discussed a potential deal with the manufacturer.

The Italian has established close links with both MV Agusta and ParkinGO in recent years, competing with the former in the Italian and American Superbike series' and winning WSS races with the latter during a successful 2011 campaign aboard a Yamaha.

As such, Scassa was immediately named as a likely candidate to ride the Supersport F3 675 following the announcement that MV Agusta will return to international competition in 2013 with the help of former champions ParkinGO.

However, while Scassa, who rode a Padgetts Honda in the 2012 MCE British Superbike Championship, admits he has been approached to ride in 2013, he hasn't made any decision.

"It's clear that with the success I had with MV Agusta in my career and my personal relationships that keep me close to the brand, MV Agusta covers a special place in my heart and it would be an enormous pleasure for me to be part of the project again."

"Anyway, at the moment, no deal has been made yet and we're valuing the MV Agusta possibility just as the other interesting proposals. At a convenient time it will be with extreme satisfaction that we'll communicate next season's choice."
