Roberto Rolfo has taken his MV Agusta F3 to the top of the World Supersport Championship timesheets for the first time this season after coming out fastest in a damp FP2 session at the Moscow Raceway.

A podium winner in Rolfo's hands this season already, the MV Agusta F3 put its reputation as one of the best handling bikes on the grid by benefitting from the levelling damp conditions, the Italian coming out fastest by more than two tenths of a second.

Lapping around eight seconds slower than they managed in Q1, Sam Lowes was second quickest on the Yakhnich Yamaha, ahead of Kawasaki duo Andrea Antonelli and Kenan Sofuoglu.

Rookie Christian Iddon confirmed ParkinGO MV Agusta's strong form around the Russian circuit with the fifth fastest time, ahead of Michael van der Mark, Kev Coghlan, Massimo Roccoli, Raffaele de Rosa and Vladimir Leonov.
