Roberto Rolfo will switch to Kawasaki machinery next season after penning a deal to join Go Eleven for the 2014 World Supersport Championship season.
One of the most experienced riders on the grid, former MotoGP and World Superbike rider Rolfo made his Supersport debut in 2013 fronting the ParkinGO MV Agusta outfit, the Italian claiming two podiums en route to sixth in the standings.
However, with MV Agusta switching its allegiance to reigning champions Yakhnich Motorsport for 2014, Rolfo has agreed to ride with Go Eleven Kawasaki, where he will join Superstock 600 graduate Christian Gamarino in the expanded two man line-up.
"I am very happy to have reached this agreement to race again in the category that gave me a lot of satisfaction and was a lot of fun. I want to thank everyone from Denis Sacchetti, Gianni Ramello and Piero Cabutti who believed in me.”
Rolfo and Gamarino replace the late Andrea Antonelli, who was tragically killed in an accident during the Moscow Raceway round of the 2013 World Supersport Championship.
