On the weekend it was confirmed that Yakhnich Motorsport will play no further part in its racing activities, MV Agusta showed the team's exit has not had an effect as yet as Jules Cluzel swept to the fastest World Supersport time of the day Misano.

Racing under the in-house 'MV Agusta Reparto Corse' banner, Cluzel surged to the head of the timesheets with his final lap, the Frenchman just over a tenth up on the competition aboard the F3RR.

Fastest in FP1, WSS leader Michael van der Mark ended the day second best on the PATA Honda, the Dutchman heading off an impressive afternoon from Ratthapark Wilairot, the Thai rider going with the pace to finish in third position.

Fastest during the early stages of FP2, Kenan Sofuoglu led the Kawasaki challenge in fourth, ahead of Lorenzo Zanetti, PJ Jacobsen and Raffaele de Rosa, while Roberto Tamburini, Jack Kennedy and Florian Marino completed the top ten positions.

Meanwhile, there were crashes for Christian Gamarino and Marco Bussolotti, the latter suffering his second fall of the day having landed in the medical centre following his accident in FP1.
