Kyle Smith will remain in the World Supersport Championship next season after penning a deal with the PTR-run CIA Landlords Insurance Honda team for 2016.

The Englishman stepped up to the Supersport class in 2015 with PATA Honda, concluding his season with an impressive maiden victory on the CBR600RR in Qatar to end the year fifth overall.

The win came just days after it was confirmed he had been dropped from the Ten Kate Racing outfit in favour of PJ Jacobsen, only to sign with Simon Buckmaster's PTR team on the eve of the race.
