Foret held on for second, though the Ten Kate Honda rider was visibly aggrieved with the mistakes that arguably cost him the chance for victory.
The fight for the final podium position went down to the wire, with Lowes finding impressive pace in the closing laps to shadow Foret. A stubborn backmarker would go on to nix his chances of challenging Foret for second, but Lowes was still able to get the better of Dionisi and take a second WSS podium of the season.
Salom also edged through on Dionisi for fourth, leaving the Italian a somewhat unrepresentative fifth following a herculean ride on the Honda Italia machine.
Davies finished a fairly lonely sixth on a disappointing weekend for the ParkinGO Yamaha team, while Ellison got a good finish on the board with his run to seventh.
The ever-consistent Robbin Harms finished in eighth, ahead of Roberto Tamburini and Gino Rea, while Florian Marino, Miguel Praia, Alessio Velini, Roman Stamm and Alexander Lundh were the final points' scorers.
