I have a sneaking feeling he might elect to retire at the end of the season. That knee has been giving him a lot of problems, swollen after every race - a la Vermeulen. And marriage is on the horizon - a la Stoner. One of the main reasons he chose moto2 over wsbk was iirc having to do 2 full SBK races in the same day was too hard for him physically. Add the increased danger in SBK compared to supersport, i doubt he'll want to go back there. He's tried the Moto2 route too, and there's hardly anything more to achieve in wss. He might want to retrire gracefully while he is still at the top of his game rather than ending up like washed up prized fighter. While I'd like to cheer for more victories, I'd respect that decision if he took it.
