Trouble with Moto2 is if you don't get the right equipment or join one of the better financed teams that get preferential support from the chassis manufacturers its very easy to sink without trace....there's a lot of good riders floundering in that class not necessarily through any fault of their own. Gino was testing a superbike at Mugello last week, that's Ducati territory so although he was being cagey I'm guessing its either for their superstock effort with the new bike next year or maybe even as a second rider to Checa...they have talked about getting back to a 2 man set-up. Probably completely wrong but good to speculate...

Too right Don-R. If a rider has Grand Prix intentions then they should get onto that scene as soon as possible. Which is why i was disappointed to hear that Eugene Laverty has dismissed going via the Moto2 route.
