*past. and if you actually watch the race you could see Sam was much happier on the rear end of his bike, riding wider and looking for the more aggressive corner exits. Good for Sam, he made those tires last, thats probably the most remarkable feat of what he did. As for Kenan he probably left a little to early in an attempt to keep the mid pack from trying to swamp him like last race, hoping for better weather so Kenan can get his bike setup properly next race.

yeah good year, thats why Sam was 6/10s faster than him in qualifying and Leonov was closer to Kenan than Sam was. The slowest parts of the track is where the riders spend most of the time, a bike thats fastest in a straight line has a decisive advantage, but is not the fastest over a lap, all you have to do is look at Ducati to figure that one out. Some people cant see passed straight line speed tho. Kenan struggling to find setup in warmup is a bad sign for that team, and he still dusted Foret.
