Russian driver Andrey Romanov is to miss the latest rounds of the World Touring Car Championship this weekend at Brands Hatch.
The Liqui-Moly Team Engstler driver currently lies fifth in the Independents' Trophy standings but will be unable to line up on the grid for the British round of the campaign after failing to obtain the required visa in time for the race weekend.
As such, Romanov will be unable to compete in Kent and will now aim to rejoin the series at Oschersleben next month – a circuit where he has already tasted victory this year in the German Procar Championship.
