Having been forced to sit out the British rounds of the World Touring Car Championship, Wiechers-Sport will return to action on home soil in Germany.
The BMW team missed its first WTCC round since 2005 after running into sponsorship issues prior to the Brands Hatch meeting, with the team then focusing on making a return at Oschersleben.
Olivier Tielemans will return to action at the wheel of the #16 BMW 320si, while the team also plans to run a second car in its home event.
Who will drive that car is due to be announced in the coming days.
