Hungarian driver Norbert Michelisz will return to the World Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch after securing top honours from the SEAT Leon Eurocup weekend in Portugal.
The 24-year-old picked up the highest number of points from the Porto weekend after securing his second victory of the season in race two around the challenging street circuit.
It means he follows Tim Coronel and Diego Puyo in securing a one-off drive at the wheel of a SEAT Leon TFSi entered by the SUNRED Engineering team.
Michelisz competed in the WTCC event at Okayama last season following his success in the Eurocup, making him the first driver to secure a second WTCC outing on the back of his results in the one-make series.
