The stewards need to look at the penalty again. Tarquini was never likely to score any points in the second race. They should have given him a ten place grid penalty for the next round.

Tarquini's driving has been rather suspect on a number of occasions over the past couple of seasons along with a number of others.I would be very disappointed but not at all surprised to see a penalty being applied to him.Sadly the series is in danger of becoming nothing more than an expensive form of banger racing and if the world economic crisis continues to bite I can see the withdrawal of the manufacturers particularly BMW who have been dissatisfied for some time now despite their success.

havent seen the playback yet, but one thing i would say is that priaulx has not been averse to some barging and nerfing in the past. poetic justice??

I have to say that I've never thought that about Andy Priaulx, Rich ard. A robust world champion, but never wantonly nerfing anyone off!

Regardless of all this I just wanted to post to say I thought his drive in race 2 was chanelled agression and a fantastic reaction to get a point scoring finish.
The performance of a true champion. Whether he will win it again is another matter, but he showed why he's won 3 world and 1 european title consequetively!

And no one was pushed off on his way through - in fact it was Yvan's nudging of the car in front that gave Andy the run to pass him.
