Pathetic move by Larini, this was more than just a tap, he completely bulldozered the Lada off the road. He's very lucky he was allowed into the second race, in my opion drivers who pull stunts like that should be send packing.

it seems a very harsh penalty for larini, van lagen was out of shape with locked up rear wheels, and larini was being pushed from behind. and as for farfus, he was clear ahead of muller going into the corner, and muller following close behind, misjudged the distance to the tyres and clouted them. i couldnt see how on earth farfus could be blamed for mullers mistake. weird or what!!??

van lagen was driving like that for the whole race so larini should have known better not to try something as stupid as this.

Find the facts Richard,Farfus was given the official warning for hitting Muller on three separate occasions prior to the incident you describe.Larini was quite correctly penalised for what was one of the most blatant pushes I have witnessed. That his penalty is so light is the real crime however and the fact that the decision was not made before the start of the second race allowing him to take up his grid slot at the front sums up much of what many of us now feel about the level of policing of motorsport.

Shame cause it would have been a good result for fellow Dutchman van Lagen.

Not the first time Larini pulls something like this, either.

Good that something has been done about it, but it's of little consolation for JVL and the Lada team really.

Larini is a very bad loser, always have been when things didn't go his way. He couldn't have it that Jaap did so extremely well and I was really gutted to see him push of the Lada because it would be great for them to have a good result. If this happens everytime they will pull out of the WTCC sooner than later.

it has been reported on german tv, that seat protested farfus for the incident with the tyres. it was the view of the stewards that it was mullers own fault, but they opted to warn farfus for a couple of wheel banging moments earlier on the lap. seat wanted their nearest challenger to be excluded. poor show!
