WTCC » European Touring Car Cup revamped

Nice idea - but I can't see it being much of a sucess. There's 1 clash with the BTCC at Oulton Park, 2 with the STCC and 2 of the races are also on back to back weekends with the BTCC so any BTCC teams that are interested have to gamble on having very little repair work to do on back to back weekends in order to get the cars to the track for the following weekend. They should of tagged it onto 2 or 3 European WTCC (or even 1 BTCC, 1 STCC and 1 DTC) events and then had their stand alone event in Austria to finish the series off.

Apart from the date clashes, the story suggest they are covering the whole of Europe. Four countries don't comprise Europe, & why do we need yet another championship anyway?
