“We are thinking a lot of things,” he told the official
FIA WTCC website. “We definitely want to expand our brand across racing and demonstrate how competitive we can be in top level series. At the same time we wish to show the sponsors what they can obtain if they stay with us.
“So, yes we are interested, as long as the series goes green and we don't get penalised. We have learnt how to use this fuel and so we can help others to do so if they help us into the series. If we, and the whole series can go green together then credits go to both of us.”
Polestar – who run under the Volvo Olsbergs Green Racing banner – are due to make the trip to Monza too, albeit with a two-car line-up this time. Dahlgren would be joined by former BTCC driver Tommy Rustad.
