Nicola Larini will be joined on the World Touring Car Championship grid at Imola by his brother Andrea after achieving success in the SEAT Eurocup.

The Italian is the latest driver to be given a shot in the SUNRED Engineering SEAT Leon, a reward for being the highest scoring competitor at the previous Eurocup meeting.

Joining his more experienced brother at their home event, Larini will not be making his WTCC debut having competed in a handful of races in 2005 when the series occasionally doubled up with the Italian Touring Car Championship.

Driving an Alfa Romeo 156, his best result was fifth in the Independents' class.
