Munnich Motorsport complete two-day test

Rain remains for Munnich Motorsport's final day of testing in Spain

Munnich Motorsport completed its first test for the 2013 FIA World Touring Car Championship on Thursday.

The test was run over two days at Circuito de Navarra, Los Arcos in Spain, but cold weather and rain limited the development work the German team could do on the SEAT Leon cars.

Marc Basseng, however, remained somewhat positive: “I believe that after these two days we are well prepared for wet races!” he told the official WTCC site.

The 2012 FIA GT1 champions now continue their pre-seson programme in Portugal heading to Portimao for two further days of testing.

Munnich are the third team to have begun testing for 2013, with Honda and Lada having also already hit the track in the countdown to the new season, which starts in 44 days time.
