Yvan Muller has revealed that he will announce his plans for the 2013 World Touring Car Championship season 'soon', with a week to go until entries close for the year ahead.
The Frenchman was left without a drive after Chevrolet elected to end its factory involvement at the end of the 2012 season, although he has been tipped to stay with RML; the team that ran the Chevrolet programme and which is believed to be working on a privateer entry for the year ahead.
A post of Muller's Facebook
page revealed that his calendar for the 2013 season was the same as that for the World Touring Car Championshiop, albeit with a Portuguese race listed by the Frenchman as being at Portimao when the WTCC
event will this season be in Porto.
Quizzed about which car he will be driving, Muller revealed that 'the announcement of the team and the car is coming soon', while he also confirmed that he plans to try and put together a deal to again compete on his home round of the World Rally
Championship, which takes place in the Alsace region in early October.
Muller has taken part in the event for the past three years, taking a best finish of 14th last season at the wheel of a MINI John Cooper Works WRC.
