Aleksei Dudukalo has lost his World Touring Car Championship seat with LADA Sport Lukoil and has been replaced by Mikhail Koslovskiy, it has been reported.

According to Touring Car Times Dudukalo has been deemed solely responsible for causing the collision between himself and team-mate, James Thompson, during qualifying at Monza last weekend.

Dudukalo missed his braking point after slipstreaming Norbet Michelisz down the long front-straight, t-boning the sister car going into the chicane. The incident ended up ruling both cars out of the two races, much to the team's embarrassment, on its first weekend back in the series full-time.

Koslovskiy will now join Thompson for round two, which takes place in Morocco from April 6-7.
