Yvan Muller looks set to join Sebastien Loeb at Citroen for the 2014 World Touring Car Championship after testing the new C-Elysee.
A promotional video released by the French manufacturer showed the 43-year-old sampling the car that Citroen will use for its debut in the series next year.
Citroen Racing's website also made reference to the video featuring Loeb's 'new team-mate' although there has yet to be any further information from Citroen as to the nature of its line-up.
“It's terrific, a real thoroughbred,” Muller says of the car in the video. “I think we should be able to do great things with it.”
Muller, winner of the WTCC title on three occasions in the past, was widely tipped as one possible option to partner Loeb in order to give Citroen much needed circuit experience.
His former Chevrolet team-mates Alain Menu and Rob Huff have also been linked with drives, while former F1 racer Robert Kubica has been mentioned as a possible third driver for selected events.
