Rob Huff ended his 2013 World Touring Car Championship season on a high with his second win of the season in the final race of the year in Macau.

Having made the move to newcomers M?nnich Motorsport following Chevrolet's departure from the series, Huff headed into the final round of the year with just a single win to his name at the wheel of the team's SEAT Leon but made the most of his experience on the challenging street circuit with one of his strongest showings of the campaign.

Having taken a podium finish in the first race of the weekend, Huff extended his record of winning more races than any of his WTCC rivals in Macau with victory in a chaotic season finale and the outgoing champion said he was proud with the way the weekend had gone.

"I said I wanted to finish with a victory," he said, "but I did not actually think this was possible. The pace of the car this year has not been always great compared to Honda and Chevrolet.

"However I tried to push at the maximum in all the sessions and I am just so happy with these results - a third and a win - because it is the best way to leave the M?nnich Motorsport team and thank them for taking me the honour of working with them during the season.

"I know that Macau is considered a difficult track for overtaking. But it looks like I have the click here. I am always very excited every time I race here. And today it could not have been any better."

Huff will move to LADA for the 2014 season as the Russian manufacturer expands its progamme to three cars.
