Rob Huff has added to his already busy racing schedule with the announcement that he will appear on track at the new Goodwood Members Meeting in March.
Huff, who will race for the LADA in the WTCC this season, will compete in the Gerry Marshall Trophy for Group 1 touring cars at the wheel of a Rover 3500 SD1, which he will share with Tim Scott Andrews.
The Briton will also complete high-speed demonstration runs in a Renault RE30B as raced by Alain Prost and Rene Arnoux during the 1982 as he gets behind the wheel of a thoroughbred F1 machine for the first time.
“I can't wait for the 72nd Members' Meeting,” Huff said. “I've been involved in the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival before and I've always had a really good time on the track and off it.
“To race a Rover SD1 will take me back a few years because my granddad used to take me to school in one every day, and to get behind the wheel of the Renault turbo is going to be something pretty special because I've never driven a grand prix car before.
“I'm told that this machine, in particular, is a bit of an animal.”
