Two consecutive weeks of racing means that WTCC teams and drivers will try to remedy the pitfalls discovered in the opening round as they descend on Paul Ricard this weekend.

For Tiago Monteiro, however, the main focus remains on his overall goal for the season, securing as many points as possible for him and the Honda team. The problems he faced in Morocco four days ago will have no immediate final solution at Paul Ricard, because they will require extensive work by the entire team, but there are adjustments that can still be made to try and minimize the gap to their main rivals.

"We are aware that it will be another hard week-end where we will have to fight hard to achieve our goals, but we will not give up," Monteiro insisted, "I have faith that the small adjustments the team will make, together with the fact that we will be on a more conventional track, can help,"
