Jose Maria Lopez stands on the cusp of more history heading into the final round of his title-winning World Touring Car Championship season provided he successfully conquers the iconic Macau Guia circuit.

Having avoided the scenario of this year's title being decided on his first visit to the famously unforgiving street venue after clinching the crown in Japan, Lopez still has good reason to keep up the pressure as he eyes a new record for most wins in a season.

Currently tied with team-mate Yvan Muller on nine victories in 2014, one more win in Macau would mark the perfect conclusion to a remarkable debut season in WTCC for the Argentine.
