LADA Sport has confirmed Gabriele Tarquini and Hugo Valente will join Nicky Catsburg in its revised driver line-up for the 2016 World Touring Car Championship.
The Russian manufacturer is entering into its second season with the Vesta TC1, but will do so with an overhauled driver roster, with Tarquini and Valente switching over from Honda and Campos Chevrolet respectively.
The most experienced driver on the grid, 53 year-old Tarquini – who has been racing touring cars for more than 20 years - joins LADA in a straight swap with the Rob Huff, who was last month confirmed as heading in the other direction with Honda.
Valente, meanwhile, lands his first factory-backed deal after two positive seasons at the wheel of a Campos Racing Chevrolet Cruze, the Frenchman scoring three podiums en route to ninth overall.
They will be paired with the already-confirmed Catsburg, the Dutchman landing a full-time drive after making his WTCC debut with LADA mid-way through the 2015 season, scoring a best finish of fourth place.
