Macau: Test times

Rob Huff led the way in Thursday testing in Macau ahead of this weekend's final WTCC round of the year, the Guia Race of Macau on the 3.803-mile, 19-turn downtown street circuit.
The first track time for the WTCC field on the Guia Circuit in downtown Macau saw All-Inkl.com Münnich Motorsport's Rob Huff take the honours at the top of the timesheets for SEAT, with Norbert Michelisz second in the Honda ahead of 2013 champion Yvan Muller in his Chevrolet.

Stefano D'Aste recovered to finish the session in sixth despite an early collision with Campos Racing newcomer Konstantins Calko at Moorish Hill. Other drivers having moments in the half hour session included a spin for RPM Racing's Mak Ka Lok and a brush with the wall for Franz Engstler's BMW.

The most serious incident of the afternoon was a heavy crash for Yukinori Taniguchi into the wall in the first corner at the Reservoir bend which resulted in a brief red flag stoppage mid-session.

WTCC free practice and qualifying for the Guia Race of Macau take place on Friday, with a day off before the two races on Sunday afternoon.
