Macau: Practice 1 times

Yvan Muller took control of the first WTCC practice session in Macau on Friday morning ahead of this weekend's final round of the 2013 season.
Chevrolet was looking well suited to the 3.803-mile, 19-turn Guia Circuit in downtown Macau on Friday morning, with Yvan Muller topping the times with a lap of 2:31.121s, almost three quarters of a second faster than Pepe Oriola.

Having topped Thursday's test sessions, Rob Huff had to make do with being third fastest for BMW in the first free practice of the race weekend, just 0.017s ahead of the top-placed Honda driven by Tiago Monteiro.

Among those having less successful starts to their Macau weekend was Ng Kin Veng, who lost control of his China Dragon Racing Chevrolet midway through the session going into Police and hit the inside barrier, bouncing back and incurring further front end damage. Campos Racing's Konstantins Calko was caught out by the accident and hit the barrier trying to avoid the spinning Chevy.

Norbert Michelisz also went off at Lisboa, resulting in minor rear-end damage to his Honda near the end of the half hour session.
